Who thinks ESPN is bias/favor towards the yanks?
Question:im watching baseball tonight and cole hamels has a chance to throw a perfect game and who do the anouncers talk about...the yanks!! this is ridicoulous!! your thoughts?
Answers:
Whenever they win, it leads SportsCenter. And when they lose, it is ignored, swept under the rug. It is obvious that, as far as ESPN is concerned, there is the Yankees, and there is everyone else.
Are the Brewers going to have a good season?
Hell a blind person could see that!Do you know where i can get a picture of alex gordon's first major league homerun vs. the blue jays?
Definately a bias for the bigger teams.Yanks, Red Sox, Cubs. I mean when do you hear about Baltimore or KC or Wash.?Sick and tired of Yanks. Not Just ESPN but all sports talk is about yanks. Just because they spend billions to not win the world series. Go A's......
They favor the larger market teams. Such as the Yankees,Red Sox,Mets,Dodgers.
Do the washington nationals ever have much attendance their stadium is always empty?
There is a bias towards the Yankees and the Red Sox because they are the two largest fan bases in MLB. In order to garner the largest audience, they have to cater to the larger fan bases so there will naturally be more coverage of them as opposed to other teams. In minor league baseball...what does it mean when a player is "released"?
Well maybe you are favoring towards the phillies by expecting them to talk about Hamels chances of a perfect game. It always does seem that they are talking about the yanks but that is because they are the richest team in all sports..they probably pay espn just to talk about them.As a Yankees fan (since birth), I see the opposite. Whenever I watch the Yankees play any team on ESPN, they always seem to favor the other team. Except Tim McCarver, he's in love with Derek Jeter.
Who will win the world series this year?
My advise to you is to stop watching Yanks/Red Sox tonight. Both teams bore me and so does ESPN.Who's more likely to get a hit today, Edgar Renteria or Royce Clayton?
