Vanderbilt is still the #1 team in the nation in NCAA Baseball with a 35-8 Record. Although Rice has a higher RPI and is rated number 1 in that regard. This is because they have played the toughest schedule so far.Vanderbilt is still regarded as this by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, and USA Today, and ESPN. Florida State is a close second with a 37-6 Record. If Vanderbilt falters at some point, look for FSU to move into the #1 Spot. Both are Great Teams though.
