Whats a slugging average or slugging percentage?

It would be C.

( Keep in mind these numbers are to date. By the end of the season both players will have way more rbi's. )

Manny Ramirez is 35 with 1,540 rbi's of today. He would need to get 757 more to tie the record and 758 to break the record. He would have to take really good care of himself and possibly be a DH in the later years to have a legit shot.

Alex Rodriguez is 32 with 1,386 rbis. He would need 911 to tie the record and 912 to break the record. By the end of this season plus 7 maybe 8 more he could do it. He would have to DH in the later years as well.

Whats up with the nats owning the braves this year?

none... 755 career home runs will be broken before any of those!

What is the difference between a perfect game and a no hitter?

Probably Rose's 4256 hits, but don't look for a serious challenger for at least 20 years.

Young's 511 wins is the least breakable on your list.

When will the MLB finally get a salary cap?

2,297 RBIs. I think A-Rod has a shot at that one. The wins and strikeouts are pretty much untouchable considering how careful teams are with pitch counts and the five-man rotation. Pete Rose played too long, and with the money players make these days, I don't think anyone's playing long enough to challenge the hits record. None of the current players has a chance at the stolen base record. Most players steal very few bases after age 35. It seems that a player would have to have 1,200 steals in his first 15 seasons to even have shot at the record. RBIs is the only one on the list that doesn't seem impossible

Which Team is going to win the World Series?

I believe it will be the RBI total.

Do I have a better chance to catch a Barry Bonds home run in right, left or center field?

I'd go with C. because Barry Bonds is actually pretty close to that RBI total right now. He can possibly eek out a few more years to get to that total. Don't forget about Alex Rodriguez and Albert Pujols and I'm sure they can reach that total. A-Rod has over 1300 already and I believe he can play til 40.

I guarantee no one will ever reach 511 wins in their career. That's about unbreakable as unbreakable can get. Thinkg about it. If you won 20 games a year in a 20 year career, you'd still be 100+ games away. We all know no one is going to win 20 games a year for 20 years anyways. The huge milestone is 300 wins and pitchers rarely ever get to that and if you do, it pretty much means you're a hall of fame caliber pitcher.

I doubt anyone will reach that strikeout total. Pitchers just don't get enough innings to do that and no power pitcher has the longetivity to be a strikeout pitcher his whole career. Don't ask me how Nolan Ryan or Roger Clemens did it but it's very very unlikely.

I'm sure the stolen base record shall remained intact simply because no one really steals bases anymore. All they do in MLB now is hit homeruns...

Do you like The New York Yankees or the New York Mets??

2,297

Can someone define to me what details as an earned run in baseball?

Jeez, RBI's easily. Bonds will break it IF he plays three or four more seasons. A Rod will have a really good shot at it too.

Do you think Bonds wilol break Hank Aaron's HR record?

I would have to choose c the 2,297 Rbi's. I think that any of the power hitters can get that. The most least likeable on your list is Cy Young's 511 wins, a pitcher is lucky to even get 511 starts in his career. Hank Aarons Home run record will be broken by Bonds, probably, But I guarentee, unless he gets hurt, there will be a new homerun king in about 10 more years. His name is Alex Rodriguez, I dont like him, but I think that he will, be the next home run king

Who should buy the Cubs: Jerry Colangelo or Mark Cuban?

Tough question. I think an easier question is which two will likely never be broken. 511 Wins, 5714 Strikeouts. I think probably the 4.256 hits will eventually be broken, as well as the RBI record. If we get a real speedster the 1,406 stolen bases is possible but not likely.

Best ballplayers of the modern era? (1960-present)?

cy youngs wins is a weird record. back then, if you left the game losing and the relief ended up winning, the starter would still be credited with the win. even if that were true now, i don't think anyone would be able to touch it anyway. not with 5 man rotations and dh's.

Why aren't the Yankees winning?

I say Stolen Bases and hits withe the players playing older and older

What team holds the record for most errors in one game?

What Baseball Team Will win it all this year and why?

Has to be C.
A-Henderson has a 500 lead over #2 all time.
B-Could be broken but no one is challeneging it now
D-This will NEVER be broken. It is 100 ahead of #2 and Roger Clemens is the losest active player and he's somthing like 200 behined.
E-Could very well be broken but Clemens and Johnson aren't close enough to challenege.

Which pitcher do you think is the best batter?

a

Where can you look up baseball card values without paying for a book online?

C. Probably the easiest out of the bunch. Play 20 years and average 120. Manny and Arod will brake it with out a problem.

Can Baseball and Softball be played on the same diamonds?

Probably e, the strikeouts. If you look at the career strikeout leaders, they're all fairly recent pitchers (Careers began or ended in the last 25 years). Players are a lot more free-swinging than they used to be. With bullpen use extending pitchers' careers, you'll see this one fall one of these days.

If there was a hard cap in baseball..?

I would say C

a isn't going to be broken for a long time, but is doable..
b is rather unlikely anytime soon.. maybe if Ichiro had come into the league at 20 years old.
d is simply impossible the way the game is currently played.
e would probably be the second hardest to break.

WHAT state DO you THINK>>>>>?

I think the RBI and i dont think we will see cy youngs win record broken I mean the clostes now is clemens and then maddux and they are both well ovr a 100 wins awayn form it and in youngs day he got like 30 to 35 wins a year pitchers dont throw that often anymore
