Same ol sorry Cubs?
Question:As a White Sox fan, I listened all winter about the resurgence. The end of April I listen to all the talk about heating up (even though they were playing bad teams)
Is it gonna be the same ol sorry *** Cubs as they play the Phils, Mets, Sox?

Yes same old Cubs. I'm not a Cubs fan or hater. But they overspent in the offseason in an attempt to win now so that the management can keep their jobs when the team is sold. Soriano wasn't worth that money. Zambrano won't pitch well this year and will leave at the end of the season. Rich Hill looks great, Lilly and Marquis are solid, but they lack a good fifth starter. That rotation is not strong enough to match up in a playoff series against the top teams in baseball.
Lee, Ramirez and Barrett are good but the rest of the lineup has holes. This is not a team that can match up with the Brewers.
The problem with the Cubs is that with the overspending, they raised the free agent prices to new highs that affect all teams and trickle down to the fans. It will be good for baseball when the team is sold and the new management takes over.
Where will you get noticed more DIII or NAIA?
They lost 11-5 today to the Phils, so yes, same old Cubs. And before some Cubs fan comes in to say, what did the White Sox do, the White Sox won 5-4 in 10 innings and were about an inch shy of winning in regulation.Mark buerhle autograph request?
no, so bite me.GO CUBS!!!The sox wont make the playoffs this year either, not in the same division as the Tigers, Twins and Indians
typical sox fan though, worrying more about what the cubs do than his own team.
