What are the Top Ten Baseball Towns?

Fantasy Baseball help?

Now I haven't been to all of these, so some is based on second hand knowledge.

Boston is number one, and this is not to slight the number two town. Fenway is a better place to watch a game than Busch, and the neighborhood and town have an excitement that St. Louis doesn't have.

St. Louis is number two. The fans love the Cardinals and wouldn't care if they win a world series, or come in last.

New York is three. Everyone in New York has always had an opinion about who their favorite team is, and people turn out for great teams. New York is third because the Mets and Yankees fans tend to be fair weather.

Chicago is four. The White Sox are probably the most underrated franchise with a very loyal and unappreciated fan base. And to think all those Cubs fans still love a team that has won in a hundred years.

Los Angeles is five. Dodger Stadium is a great place to watch a game, and the Angels have a fan base growing in loyalty by the day.

The other five might be debateable. Baltimore would be in this group, but their fans have soured the last five years and if they can't fill Camden Yards every night, something is wrong. Philadelphia fans are very fickle, with another great stadium with 5,000 empty seats. Atlanta should be a lot better, but maybe the people down there are too much into their NASCAR. Milwaukee should be better, but when pre-game tailgate is a warm up for the Packers, you know the fans have no loyalty. Minneapolis, where I have not been, is a pretty good baseball town, which will be even better when they play in a real baseball stadium.
