Yankee Stadium & Metro North?

ok, so you have to tag somebody else out when there no force a force, a force is lets say that there is somebody on first base and you are playing second, the batter hits the ball and the person on first base is now running to second base, if you get the ball and step on the base before the person gets to your base then he/she is out, that is not when you need to tag somebody though. You need to tag somebody when lets say that nobody is on first and you are playing second, the batter hits the ball far and has now passed first base and is heading towards second, you must tag the person so that they are out

In 1967, who finished second to Carl Yastrzemski for the Red Sox team lead with 20 home runs?

Lets say there is a man on first base. The ball is hit to the second baseman. In order to get the man out on first he has to step on the base or litterally tag him with the ball. So a tag out is at a base when a player needs to run in order to make room for someone coming to that base

As a general manager (not manager) did Tommy Lasorda kill the Dodgers?

When they don't have to be forced to the base--meaning that no one is running to the base before them forcing them to move to the next available base. So perhaps when someone tries to steal a base and gets caught or if a runner tries for extra bases and gets caught in a run down.

How many players can a pitcher strike out in a game?

exanple, with a runner on 1st, a ball is hit you dont have to tag them at 2nd, its a force out. if the ball was hit to the 1st baseman and the 1st baseman touched the bag to force out the hitter then threw to 2nd you would have to tag the runner at 2nd. the force was tooken away by getting the hitter out 1st. there are so many situations that can happen. watch baseball games on tv, it will show you alot

Which MLB stadium is the coolest and why?

A force is when you are forced to fun because there is a runner behind you. EG you're on first and the batter hits a ground ball the short stop. the runner has to run and therefore so do you. You have to tag someone when they run even though they don't have to.like when stealing, tagging up on a sac fly...or if you're on second when the ball is his.

How does one go about becoming a play by play announcer?

When A feilder has the ball in his glove and there's a runner either trying to score or steal a base. the defender must tag him out(that means he has to touch the runner with the ball).the only other way to get the batter or runner out is either throwing to first base, or another base when there are more than one runner on a base.Or the feilder can catch the ball after it's hit .it'll be an out as long as the ball doesn't hit the ground.
