Has a relief pitcher ever came in and allowed the cycle in the same inning he relieved.?

Question:It doesnt have to be in order either, just curious.

How do Baseball Jersey's run in size?

The cycle is when a player hits a single, double, triple, and a home run in the same game. A batter has never done this in a single inning off of any pitcher in a MLB game.

Or are you asking if a pitcher has ever allowed a single, double, triple, and home run during the inning he relieved? I'm sure it's happened, but I've never heard the term used that way.

.The reason I was explaining the cycle is because "the cycle" usually implies ONE player accomplished all four types of hits. A "team cycle" isn't is recorded, so I wanted to clarify because people ask a lot of bad questions. I personally do not believe there is such thing as a "team cycle" as you are describing, and it certainly does not make headlines.

The scenario that you asked about has most likely happened, but it may be hard to find since it is not something that gets recorded as "the cycle".
