ICHIROIchiro is a beast.
He is the best fielder on the list, He can play any of the outfield positions, and can play them well. He has a rocket arm, and is the leading outfielder in putouts with 0 errors. 6 YEARS in the bigs, 6 GOLDEN GLOVES.
Ichiro is the best hitter in baseball. He has hit over .300 every year of his career, and set the Major league record for hits 2 years ago. He has never had less than 200 hits in a season. There are a dozen players that hit 45 home runs a year, but only one who can lead the league in hits.
He is as fast as anyone in the majors. He set an AL record for consecutive stolen bases 2 weeks ago, and he isn't getting any slower. He doesn't carry around the bulk of a homerun hitter, and Ichiro may play well into his 40's.
Ichiro is a fan favorite. He has started (and won) every all-star game since his arrival. Hideki can't say that. Ichiro brings a whole new fan base to a team. He is a hero in Japan.
Ichiro is also never injured, because of his extensive conditioning.
Bottom line, Ichiro is the most excitng, and best player on that list. He makes teams better. His first year with the Mariners, after they lost Griffey and A-Rod, they won an AL record 116 games. Just imagine where the M's would be without him, he is the sole reason behind a lot of their wins.

I'm in Denver and of course Andruw Jones would be the best fit for probably any team, but since we have low budget ownership, Torii Hunter might be the most affordable choice. He covers a ton of ground and Coors Field is very expansive, and he has the type of power (25-30 HR in Minn.) that might translate to 30-35 HR in the thin air of Colo. He would probably be 4 years for $50 million or along those lines where Jones would probably demand 18-20 mil per year. Our current centerfielder, Willy Taveras is absolutely horrible. He gets terrible reads on the ball, has no pop in his bat whatsoever and all he can do is get infield hits and steal some bases. From this list, the 2 that stand out are the top 2. Andruw Jones for his awesome defensive abilities, plus normally a good power hitter, but really struggling at the plate this year. Ichiro Suzuki for just about everything. You cant go wrong with either one. Coco Crisp has been a big time disappointment for the Red Sox, to say the least. 10 Coco's aren't as good as 1 Jones or 1 Suzuki at this point.Phillies fan here. Of those on the list, Ichiro would be my first choice. Most likely, though, Michael Bourn will be the center fielder for the Phils if Rowand does not re-sign.
