What are the advantages and disadvantages of a Stealth Bat?
Question:i am trying to convince my dad to buy me one, but he thinks they are the same as every other bat but over priced. He says if i can prove that they are better, i can get one.

Ok, with the all of the regulations that are monitored when it comes to bats (BESR certifications, weight to length ratio etc.) out of the box the bats are not much different. The argument for buying a bat like the Stealth is the fact that it will maintain its effectiveness (how much "pop" it gives the ball off the bat) for a much longer period of time. So you will be able to use this bat for 4-6 seasons before it becomes "dead" and ineffective. If you have plans to be playing baseballs for many years, the argument is, do you want to pay $100 for a bat you will have to replace in a year or two (where that $100 bat will cost $150) or pay the extra money now and not have to worry about it. The more expensive bats also come with a more comprehensive insurance/warranty plan, and that will help should the bat fail.Hope this helps.
