Cardinals...?
Question:do you think the card will bounce back after the death and all and all that stuff??
Answers:
Which team do you think has the most fans? Which team do you think has the least fans?
LaRussa and Jocketty have been through this before, as have a handful of the players. On June 18, 2002, Darryl Kile pitched the Cardinals into first place in the division. Just hours later, Jack Buck, their long-time HOF announcer, passed away. Four days later, the day Joe Buck returned to the broadcast booth - the Cards - Cubs game was to be the Fox early "A" game - but it was cancelled when it was discovered that Kile had passed away in his sleep. (This was also just weeks after LaRussa lost his mother.)
The faltered for a bit, but rallied before they lost that division lead, and kept that lead for the rest of the season.
This year's team isn't as talented, but the heart is there.
Where to sit in a Baseball Stadium?
Yep. It would be nice to at least mention his name though (Josh Hancock ). They won't falter, Larussa is too good of a coach. The Cars have delt with this before and they will rise. They really just need a chance to grieve and I think after this week they should be good to go! Time will heal and they will certainly need that time.
As long as nobody else gets crocked and runs into the back of a tow truck, they should be just fine.
Who did Nolan Ryan throw his last no-hitter against?
yes i think they will.. yes it was a tragity but they need to put that behind them.ps i am a huge cards fan!
RIP - Josh Hancock you will be missed but never forgotten!
It took them a bit to bounce back after DK (Darrel Kile) died. Tony LaRussa and Walk Jocketty have been through this before, as has most of this team. They'll come back stronger. Am I the only one who finds it strange that the Cards were also playing the Cubs when DK died?
