Who will win the AL cy young in 2007?
I think it's unfair to all the honest ball players who play the game with integrity. I can't see how anyone could possibly root for a cheater. The same goes for Sammy Sosa as he tired to reach the 600 home run barrier. Neither should be given any media attention. They don't deserve it.Would you cheer for the Houston Astros or the New York Yankees?
Wha... home run record... In UK we call your game rounders, and it's usually played by school kids and girls..Going out for baseball next season?
He's gonna do it whether we like it or not. On the bright side, Barry's record will probably be broken by ARod, Poo Holes (Pujols), or someone else that we can only hope isn't a roider. Why does an umpire in a baseball game face the backstop when dusting off home plate?
He has admitted to using steroids but MLB allowed it so you really can't blame him. Add to that the facts that he will probably do it in fewer games than Aaron and Aaron has stated that if he had to choose a player to break his record he would choose Bonds, I would have to say that it is very fair.HOW WELL do you know baseball?
I have my own opinions about the guy.BUT!!
He hasn't been prooven of anything yet.
As of right now it is legite...Until they find Steroids in his system.
Why are there no lefthanded catchers in major league baseball?
NO FREAKING WAY!! Hank was pure power. bonds is chemically challenged.Has there ever been one player to account for all three outs in an inning of a MLB game?
Fair...NO. Is he going to...YES. At his current pace and if he plays next year he will have 855.Who was the last AL player to win back to back MVP's ?
It's not fair or unfair it is just flat going to happen and he will be the king for some period of time before A-Rod and others come up behind him. He is a baseball player of unbelievable talent who also probably used performance enhancing drugs. Nobody will ever be able to take his accomplishments away from him and it will be up to you and other fans to decide for themselves what to make of all of this.Is there any plays in baseball where an out is recored, but no one gets credit for a putout?
I hate to admit it but technically it is fair eventhough he used enhanced drugs. Who is to tell when he started using them, When he really got hot?.no, that would cause so much drama and just wait till he does, So many people are gonna have so much to say along with the media. Their is more buzz about Bonds using steroids than breaking the record. Even if he does, people wont really care just simply because he used drugs to enhace performance and that takes away so much from the thrill of baseballs home runs. What's the best Yankees fan forum?
What does this have to do with fairness? It seems like this question is bordering on the race card or false accusations towards Barry Bonds with regards to steroid use. A similar question with no sense or intelligence like this one would be more like: If A-Rod is barrelling towards home plate and Yohan Santana is blocking his progress, would it be fair for A-Rod to drop kick Yohan in the throat in order to score? It's not about fairness. Just a HR total advancing towards a mark set by Hank Aaron. If Barry's HR total passes Hank's total, he is named the record holder. Barry Bonds plays the game fairly. I'm not sure what makes him unfair or a disgrace to the sport.
