Looking for MLB game that the umpire looked at the video tape to change a call on a home run... HELP!?

Question:I think it may have been either the Red Sox or the Yankees, or even a game between the two. A fan reached into the field of play and interfered with the play. The ump went and looked at a replay and changed the call. Anybody remember that? What game and when? thanks..

What team would you love for you favorite team to sweep in the world series?

I believe that involved a Marlins game about 5 yrs ago. The umpire got ripped by the league office for doing it too.

Reason not a good Idea -- Possible that the game could be played under protest because there is not a rules provision for IR in baseball.

Did anyone see the sf giants today? what is up with that jersey?

there is no instant replay in baseball, the umps could have gathered together to over turn it, but they did not look at the tape.
