Need help w/ my hitting.?
Question:I am a 14-year-old select baseball player. I have around a .400 batting average but am disappointed w/ my hitting because I am hitting the ball in the gaps but not very solid... I have taped my in-game at-bats and my mechanics are fine... I am JUST NOT HITTING THE BALL ON THE MEAT OF THE BAT OR WHEN I DO IT'S A GROUND BALL.. PLEASE HELP!

if you're hitting .400 then you shoudnt worry about it. its a great average, if you mess with your swing you might mess up your mechanics and BA. really, dont worry about it, i dont know many that would fret over a .400 BAHow many games do major league baseball teams play in a season?

you are hitting well and hitting on the ground isn't that bad.you probably are just going through the motions not really trying to have fun. Or you aren't swing smooth so your getting on top of everything.
