mike pelphrey just had a rough outing is all it happens hes a young guy whos gaining experience so im not gonna worry about it you cant win every game and yes the rockies are bad but hey we took 2 out of 3 so thats not to bad.

The Mets have punished the Rockies in 15 of the past 16 games between the 2 ballclubs in Shea Stadium and swept the Rockies at home in 3 of the past 4 series. Todays game was simply a case where the Rockies did not want to loose yet again. They came in with more will to win and this was evident by their 20 total hits. For the Mets, it was just a case of a rookie pitcher in Mike Pelfrey not yet acclimated to Major League experience. So this was just a throwaway game, no harm done, and the Amazin' Mets should be back on track the next game.
