Is seattle a black hole for baseball players?
Question:It seems like the mariners have good young players but nobody seems to know them because they are so far away from other teams and the media seems cover them in limited terms.
Answers:
Do Red-Sox fans realize that they're losers?
The sad thing about Seattle is that have produced tallent but can't end up winning the games that count they have produced future hall of famers such as Randy Johnson, Alex Rodriguez, Edgar Martinez, and Ken Griffey Jr. They also have King Felix and Ichiro they just don't have the winning ways in the playoffs also part of it is there location compared to others. PS: Kansas City is only because they have a team in the same state called um oh yeah the Stl. Loius Cardinals who just happen to be the defending CHAMPS.Doesn't Tom Brady look good in a Yankees cap?
uhh no kansas city is hahaMets vs Yanks and family woes?
Seattle's a black hole for everything LOL!Who has sat in the 300 club level section at Jacobs Field on the first base line?
Seattle no. KC no. Philly yes.Baseball rules pitcher save win same game?

It seems that Colorado is a black hole for pitchers. Pitchers with decent ERA's watch them fluff up a lot when they go there. The Royals are another black hole for players too, as others have pointed out.
Were can I find a slow pitch softball first base glove?
by "black hole", do you mean "ruin" them.Take a look at Adrian Beltre and Richie Sexson. Both were all-star players in the national league before signing with the mariners.
For Beltre, his 2004 season was amazing. the dodgers made it into the playoffs and after they were out, I hoped Beltre would stay with the dodgers so they can have another good shot next year. He was batting in the 300s with 48 HRs. So I was shocked when he left for Seattle. Now, he struggling to make a good average and his offense dropped. But maybe it's the American league players, their league most of the time wins the all-star game. Better yet, if he still has the samw power and defense like in 04, maybe he could sign with the dodgers and play 3rd base again.
For travel, yes. Seattle is far from anywhere, and travel from Seattle to anywhere except Oakland or Calif, means changing time zones.
There aren't any "breaks" like from Philadelphia to NY, where it's less than 2 hrs by bus, or , from Chicago to Milwaukee, Detroit to Cleveland.
After Oakland and Cal, the closest teams are KC, Minnesota and Texas, at least a 2 hour trip away. unless they play Denver or Arizona.
