What team was the 1st to use numbers on the back of the jersey? Why? What year? Who was the manager?
Just about every pitcher in baseball except maybe Carlos Zambrano - and I emphasize MAYBE! These guys swing like little girls swatting flies! Most pitchers are like night and day when it comes to their pitching vs hitting; I have never understood how a major league ball player can be so good at one aspect of the game and so terrible at another (then again there is the argument of David Ortiz's hitting vs his fielding - same for Mike Piazza, Jason Giambi... etc.).Out of all the pitchers in MLB, I think the ugliest swing belongs to Randy Johnson. Wow! For someone who has spent so much time watching great hitters swing, you'd think he'd have picked up something! I don't think he even knows how to hold the bat!
Gary Sheffield for both.

Who will win the season series: Mets or Yankees?
Todd Helton .. has a weird little waggle of the bat and delivers an ugly two-handed short rifle swing. I don't know how he can bat .300 every year. Can Nate Robertson get some run support today?
Actively it's Randy Johnson, but Hideo Nomo's swing was horrible! Will Baseball fine Curt Schilling For His Radio Comments Condemning Barry Bonds?
Derek Lowe's swing shows his many years as an American League pitcher. Pedro Martinez is no Carlos Beltran either. Some pitchers are good hitters, but not those two. They should have stayed in the American League. Now, Bronson Arroyo, he showed he could hit when he got to the Reds. How good do you think Johan Santana is ?
