Why does the white sox owner scream poverty?
There is nothing wrong with Pujols. Every player, whether they be average or great, go through situation like this. He is a great talent and he WILL come out of it. By seasons end he will have typical Albert Pujols numbers. Trust me!Don't you think the White Sox are playing in the most competitive division in baseball?
Coming off a World Series win, a lot is riding on Pujols to be the cards MVP type player for a second year in a row and take them there again. His supporting cast isnt doing much to help him either. The highest average on the team is .295 by Chris Duncan. I think once the Cards figure out how to get on base, Pujols will snap out of it. His numbers arent the worst either, besides his average being very low, he still has 6 HRs and 19 RBIs. I think Pujols will be fine. How's bedard going to do this year?
He is just off to a slow start. So far josh hamilton has 5 hrs for the Reds- how many he will have at seasons end?
he is certainly having a slow start and i am definitely feeling the pain on my fantasy baseball teams. However, there is no denying that the greatest hitter in baseball will rebound from his slow start. The Cardinals in general are going through a tough time with no pitching, slumping hitters, and injuries. On the bright side, Pujols, in his first six seasons in the MLB has always hit around a clip of .330, 40 HR, and 130 RBI. He'll bounce back.WHAt happened to josh Hancock FROM THE ST.LOUIS CARDINALS?
I believe after the supporting cast of Rolen and Edmonds start to hit it will be a matter of time till Pujols get in the groove and be his old self.Slumps happen, one doesnt know a person goes into one and how one comes out of one. Most baseball players go into one from time to time,. some longer than others. He will come out of it.
How come sac fly isn't called RBI flyout? Why isn't RBI groundout called Sac Ground?
A high-priced fantasy player who could be chewing up salary that could go for several players with better stats right now. Power hitters have these funks and his record shows that he'll break out of this -- but when the calendar fips over to June and he's still struggling mightily, then it may just be one of those off years.there is nothing wrong with pujols every player that ever played baseball has gone through a slump at some point
Slumps happen to virtually every player that has ever played the game, and Pujols is no different. He is a great hitter who will eventually break out of it. Just goes to show that the guy is human like the rest of us.
