In the 90's there was an outfielder who kicked the ball back into the infield in frustration. Who was it?
Question:I think it was a centerfielder who mis-played the ball and kicked it back to second base. I have a feeling it was a Met since I watched them all the time, or it happened in a Met game, but that's all I can think of. Can anyone come up with the player or even the game in which it happened?
Thanks.

Who is the greatest catcher of all-time?
It was Paul O'Neill. He did it against the Phillies at Veterans Stadium in 1989. The game was in extra innings. Lenny Dykstra was batting against John Franco with Steve Jeltz on second. Dykstra singled to right, O'Neill bobbled the ball and thought Jeltz would score easily. Thinking the game was over, O'Neill kicked the ball out of frustration and it went right to the cutoff man. Jeltz held at third, but did eventually score the winning run on a wild pitch.Do you think the Indians will play tomorrow in cold snowy Cleveland?
