Who in major league baseball for coaches has the most wins?
The only reason really is because he has had no run support in his two loses. He could easily be 4-0 if the Sox gave him some runs. His first loss against the Blue Jays, he gave up 2 earned runs, he went 6 innings and had 10 strikeouts, the Sox should have been able to score more than just 1 little run. In his second loss against the Mariners he only gave up 3 runs in 7 innings pitched, again the Sox should have been able to score some more runs, in his two losses the Sox have scored a total on 1 run TOTAL, totally about run support. Really in his 4 starts the Sox have only scored a total of 12 runs which is an average of 3 runs per start, pretty low. He should be 4-0 but he has had terrible run support. How much do u think my 2003 world series ball is worth?
Its because the red sox are terrible. WHITE SOX RULE!Who would you rather have as your franchise player. David Wright or miguel Cabrera?
mlb is different than japan league he juat has to get used to itI agree with Chris. I have see all of his starts, and it is because he gets no run support. Pedro Martinez all over again. He is a decent enough pitcher.
He's playing with the big boys now. MLB has the best hitters and coaches in the world , much better than the japanese hitters he is used to facing. Even with that said he is still doing a pretty good job. Wins and losses don't always tell the story. Give him some time , let the coaches work with him , let him figure out how to pitch in the Major leagues. Relax, it's early yet.
I am a Royals season ticket holder?
It's definitely due to run support. Even though he looked shaky against NY, he still hung in there and gutted it out. He will be fine. Why should the losers get a ring?
In his first three starts, the team gave him a grand total of ONE run!! This last start, he was off and gave up several runs. Interestingly enough, he won that game and now is 2-2 for the season. You know, run support IS important, so do not belittle that fact.Chow!!
Whos going to win the NL East and why?
Alright, nobody's said why he's really getting hit hard yet. He doesn't know how to pitch inside. Pitching inside is an artform and they don't teach that in Japan, watch any Japanese pitcher that has come through the majors and everything they throw is away from the batter. If Matsuzaka tries to go inside and misses his spot, guess what, thats a 96 mph fastball right over the meat of the plate where even the worst of major league hitters can cream it. Either that or its a hit batsman. He also has to face the toughest lineups in the league pitching in the AL East. I guarantee he's never even come close to pitching against lineups that tough in Japan. Was Pete Rose the baseball player a homosexual ?
because he rocked by the Yankees. He sucks, just give him time. He'll suck in three years. My fav baseball team is the angels what's urs?
The MAJOR reason is Run Support.....The Yankee fans would love to see him in pin stripes....He'll be fien when he settles down.and team puts on their balls and starts to swin ghte freakin' bats.....Because he's Japanese and hasn't learned to pitch inside effectively yet. Major League hitters are too good to let them own 65% of the plate.
