You can pitch again after it is surgically repaired, but to tell you the truth, its gonna be hard. You will definitely have to learn to be patient because if you try to pitch too soon, you'll mess it up again. You might develop tendinitis or maybe even arthritis. As long as you rehab and rest your shoulder things should go well, but you will lose speed in the fast ball. Rehab could last months. If you are not a pitcher, i wouldn't worry too much about it.
