Chicago!!!!!?... do you like sox or cubs and why!!!!?

Question:PLZ explain why clearly dont just say cubs or sox be serious!!!!

Answers:

Will this pitch hurt my arm?

Definetly a White Sox fan. Don't really know why. I really think it's the Cubs fans that turn me off of the Cubs. They are all ignorant and talk so much crap all the time about how the Cubs are better than the Sox and it's the Cubs year. When everyone knows the Cubs will probably never win the World Series. I'll admit the Cubs are a good team. They have good players but they just can't hold onto a lead for the life of them. The Sox are a genuinly good team that goes out fighting every game and that's why I love them!

How to Pitch?

i like the cubs better because the white sox beat the astros in the world series

What do you think the 5 classic Baseball cites are?

A fan of neither but I sympathetic to the Wrigley Faithful. Cubs fans really are long over due.

Do you think the White Sox have what it takes to win the 2007 World Series?

Why would people in Chicago like the Red Sox?

Where did the term "platinum sombrero" come from?

Sorry, I'm a Boston Red Sox Fan and that's the bottom line.

How do we obtain a tax id for a non profit organization?

I'd say I like the Cubs. I'd like to see them win for many reasons but mostly for their fans. You talk about cursed, I think they've suffered more than the Red Sox fans. There is something about rooting for the Cubs that simplifies rooting for the underdog. Just once I'd like to see them raise a pennant winning flag and even a world series championship.

Are pitch counts a good thing?

Neither and here's why...
I don't like the white sox and I'm not an AL fan.
This would make me like the Cubs, but I think it was so lame when they tried to blame their entire post season woes on Bartman. For the record, they had pretty much already lost the game at that point. They should have taken responsibility for what really happened.THEY CHOKED.

With that said, if I ever visit Chicago, you can bet that I'll find time for a Cubs game at Wrigley, so I guess my answer may end up being for the Cubs

Whats wrong with minnesota?

Even though I grew up on the Southside, my father raised me a Cub fan. He grew up following both, however, he cut ties with the White Sox when they began broadcasting the majority of their games on cable television during the late 70's/early 80's.

Cub fans in general tend to be a more loving group that concentrates on their team. My experience with White Sox fans is that they care more about bashing the Cubs than they do about their own team. Want an example? Look at the ads that the White Sox put up a few years ago depicting "Real Baseball, 8.2 miles South." My personal favorite is the White Sox fans wearing t-shirts depicting a World Series ring clad middle finger with the inscription of "Hey Cub fans, this ring's for you!" It wasn't enough for them to win the World Series. They needed to rub it in the face of Cub fans. Apparently, according to this Sox fan posting below me, in order to be a good fan you need to talk smack about the other team that isn't even in your division. I don't foresee that happening when the Cubs finally win the World Series for the first time since 1908.

We'll laugh, cry, and dance to the good times. Go Cubs Go!

Why is A-Rod wearing knee high socks this season?

CUBS! because of the history

Who Thinks the Oakland A's are gonna win it all this year?

The scrubs I mean cubs turned me off years ago. I started noticing the white sox starting to find players and build a great team. Then in 2005 the impossible happened, the world championship.wow! Dusty Baker was a few outs away from winning the World series with S.F, then a few outs away from a pennant with the cubs. He has always missed the mark. Ozzie Guillen makes no bones about busting your balls. That's exactly what many ballplayers need. The Sox are in a zone now and poised to make another run at the postseason. While the cubs will cry wait until next year.

Who are the only players in major league history with 20 wins and 20 saves in a season (different seasons)?

White Sox:
1) Because Cubs fans feelings get hurt when you make fun of their team.
2) Never joined a frat house or wear a shell necklace - so I don't fit in.
3) Wrigley is a dump.

Really - it is where we went as kids, so I developed this love of the Sox, even though my dad is a Cubs fan. It is amusing to see those complain about the Sox t-shirts (sold OUTISDE the stadium, not licensed shirts), and a billboard ten years ago done by a radio station. See, the problem with Cub fans is they feel that we care more about the Cubs. Not true. We really don't. Look at 2005 - it was all about the Sox. No one cared about the Cubs. And there is no North - South thing anymore. There has been so much movement to the burbs that it really does not matter anymore. But come on - if you are offended by being made fun of - and can't take a joke - you might just be a Cub fan.

Will Chipper Jones stay with the Braves for the rest of his career?

I am a lifelong White Sox fan. We had a lot of rough years, so I am enjoying the good ones alot.

The AL owns the NL when it comes to interleauge play ?

im a huge white sox fan.
my whole family is.
both sides well besides my grandpa who died.
he was a die hard cubs fan.

and why doesnt it matter who's a sox fan or who's a cubs fan?

How much are these cards worth?

The Cubs.
Oh what to say about my team without insulting the lowly Sox fans.oops...I give you guys credit though... Congrats...I am a Cubs Fan though for three main reasons. 1st and foremost, the history...where else can you find a baseball team with such epic stories. Granted, some make you scratch your head and wonder about them, but others are magical, awe-inspiring, tales of wins, called shots, losses, rants, and glorious moments. 2nd, we run the biggest sports bar in all of America...where else are you going to find a bar with an actual baseball game inside of it. I joke but really, one of the most fun parts about the Cubs is the atmosphere. We lose and can still walk out of there happy...be it from beer or the memories of the game and festivities. And 3rd, when you become the joke of all the MLB, you learn to enjoy the little victories, be it a home run to win a game, or Kerry Wood and Mark Prior being seen pitching without having their arm's fall off...we enjoy what the game truly stands for. The fun of the past-time, the friendship between fans and players, and the magic and hope of baseball...That is why I am a Cubs Fan

What kind of pants do Baseball umpire wear?

Sox, been a Sox fan since the 60's.

Whats your favorite thing 2 do?

I grew up a sox fan because of my dad. And i dont hate the cubs as much as i hate the fans. They are the ones who turn sox fans off. You cant talk about baseball to them because a majority of them dont even know what they are talking about. When you do talk baseball to them all they could say is that they draw more fans than the sox. and most of them just go there to get drunk and go to all the bars in wrigleyville.

What constitues a "hold" in baseball?

I am a White Sox fan. Why you ask. Because after years of hearing wait till next year I didn't want to hear any more broken promises. The Sox never gave out promises but gave you optimism that they might be able to do it. And besides who can forget the south side hit men.

Yankees..?

I am from New York, but I personally like the cubs. My sisters boyfreind's cousin plays for them.

Dice-K supposedly threw the gyroball against the Mariners on 4/11/07, where can I find a video of this online?

Being a Cubs fan is about the game, not about identity politics. And yes, being a Cubs fan is in part about the best stadium in the major leagues! Although. It´s time for the Cubs to give their fans what they deserve. I am tired of having my heart broken year after year. The Cubs owe it to the fans and the city of Chicago to put together a winning team.
