Trying out chances?
Question:I want to tryout for professional baseball, I'm very athletic unfortunately I haven't played since little league due to some coaches in high school having vendettas against me. I never stopped just playing casually or going to batting cages, my passion to play never died and its even stronger to this day. I'm 21 and I really want to at least try, a lot of people have doubts in me since its been so long since I last played any real games. Its gonna cost me nearly a thousand to get a tryout in front of major league scouts and I would have 2 months to get ready. Realistically would anyone else take this risk or would they think I had a shot?

Take chances.I think the odds are against you. 2 months is not a lot of time to get in sha[e. Sure youve worked on hitting. What about fielding?
Can you play at the top of your game for you position?
With out ever seeing how much talent you have for the game its hard to tell. Passion helps out a lot. But do can you really perform?
If you can afford it and feel you can do it, go for it, least you tried right and can walk away knowing you gave it a shot instead of a lifetime of what if i did try out.
Can any one tell me 10 facts about the Yankees?
i think at this point its to late.Bond's MEANINGLESS record, why don't they just walk him?
Why is it going to cost you so much money? I tried out for 4 or 5 teams my senior year in high school for free. Teams have open tryouts all over the country. I grew up in a town of 2000 people in central Texas. There were tryouts all over during the summer especially right after the high school baseball season is over. They look for arm strength, running speed, and how the ball comes off your bat.If you are a big Yankees Fan say yes!?
I think it's better to try rather than lying on your deathbed wishing you had. Whatever happens, at least you won't have that, "What if...? " cloud over your headWho was the last middle infielder to be left handed?
You don't have a chance at all. If you want to follow your dreams that is great, but you cannot just decide one day that you want to do something and then expect it to happen. Baseball is a very hard game to play and I guarantee that you couldn't even foul off the pitches that will be thrown at you after not playing for 7-8 years. You retarded your growth in baseball by not competing and you won't regain it in 2 months of training against a pitching machine. Also, I seriously doubt that the coaches had a Vendetta against you, it goes deeper than that. All time Baseball team? One player each position.?
Open tryouts are open to the public for independant baseball leaguea and it is professional baseball. It is not A ball but it is possible if your good enough to make a team.
