Baseball Scoreboard Question?
Question:In a game of Baseball you have the scoreboard that says R, H, E.
The R & H represent runs & hits runs & hits right? Does the E stand for Errors?
If so can i have some examples as in how an error is caused.
If its not errors than what is it & how is it scored.
Thankyou

Simply put, an error is a statistic charged against a fielder whose action has assisted the team on offense. Examples of this would be anything that allows a batter to reach base or continue his at-bat, like a muffed ground ball, a bad throw, or a dropped foul ball.Rule 10.12 covers this in-depth, if you want to read some serious detail:

You are right. The E stands for errors. An example of an error would be if a player misplays the ball when it is hit to them or if they make a bad throw and it misses it's target.Which Canadian ballplayer dominated the sport in 1887?

E stands for Errors.Errors are given subjectively, by the Official Scorer of each game, based on whether or not, in his/her opinion, the player "should" have made the play. Fielders are spared Errors in some cases when a bad hop or a fly ball in the sun cause them to not make the play.
Errors are also the main cause of Unearned Runs for pitchers which are, basically, runs that would not have scored if the inning were re-constructed with the Error not occurring.
