It was one of the best games ever. I really wish they didn't stop making it in 2005. I particulary love the golf like pitch meter that is used when pitching. It is a shame you can't get that for the PC anymore.MLB Showdown is right up there now though. That game is pretty amazing. The greatest thing about Showdown is the Career mode. You can actually just control one player, in which you start in the minors hoping to be called up to the majors. You can also just sim to every time your player is involved in action. Which is great because we all know how hard it is to actually play 162 game seasons in a baseball game.

They quit making it because EA Sports got outbid for the licensing from MLB. A shame, I know. They should quit making NBA Live and stick some money into getting back in the baseball market.I find it interesting that so many people ask questions about a computer game in a section about a sport. In case no one has realized it, playing a computer game about baseball, or any other sport, is not at all like playing the actual game. Ask these questions in the computer section.
