Does anyone think the Cards can win the NLCS or maybe even the World Series?
Question:they are pretty much relying on the rookies this year because Pujols isn't doing what he is known to and expected to. And why in the world did they trade Weaver and Suppan? I think this is another disadvantage but they might come back after the all-star break.

Well yeah Pujols is in a major slump right now but it will break sometime the questiom is will it be too late? and i don't think so. Lossing Weaver and Suppan is a huge disadvantage of the cardinals but I think the cards can come out and win the NLCS again and yes could even win the World series but they have to start winning games at home and scoring runs. Pitching means nothing without run support and the cards just aren't giving there pitchers run support right now but they little slump will end soon and yes a world series championship is in the works again.Best way of knowing the value of your baseball cards?
The cards can win the nlcs and the world series. 1. weaver and suppon didnt make the cardinals, dave duncan and the cardinals made them. Case in point...where is weaver now?? He had a gazillion era before the cards and he now has one again because he is an idiot and left. 2. we got replacements for those two by the names of kip wells and adam wainright. Both are doing well and have more talent than the ones gone.The cards just need to hit. No one can win with a team batting avg. of around 225. Yet they are still 8-10. Correct me if i am wrong but didnt they win last year with barely over a 500 record? i believe they were like 83 and 81. they played horrible after allstar break and backed into playoffs...but just goes to show you when talent gets hot at the same time records dont matter. So my answer to your question is if they can get into the nlcs than anything can happen.
