I honestly think that until anyone shows me proof or he admits that he used any illegal drugs, he is just the second greatest home run hitter of all-time. I am a diehard Yankee fan, and it was tough to see someone else pass the Babe but its inevitable. I think Hank Aaron is being an *** and doing a terrible thing to the game of baseball by not acknowledging Bonds assault on his record. 755 is the most hallowed number in all of sports and when Bonds passes it, it should be celebrated by all of baseball, including Aaron and Bud Selig. If he cheated though, well then his numbers should be erased. Cheating is wrong, but for now he is still innocent.Barry should be honored by all of baseball when he breaks the record which I think will happen in the next two months. Until they prove beyond a shadow of doubt about the steroids, there should not be a different heading. Bud Selig and Hank Aaron should be there to see it happen. If it does come up afterwards with definite proof about the steroids by all means change the heading and do not give him the credit.

I think people should be talking about this much more than it is being talked about. This is one of the greatest of all time and everyone wants to dodge it because of steroid accusations. Barry is innocent until proven otherwise and he has yet to fail a roid test. He was one of the greatest players of all time before this controversy stirred anyway. He is still one of the 5 greatest players of all time. I personally root for him, seems like a witchhunt to me. Look at A-Rod nobody talks about him being all bulked up. He was just a skinny little guy like Barry when he came into the league. I say let them all be until there is any proof otherwise on any of the guys in the league. As soon as Bonds breaks Aaron's record I will recognize Sadaharu Oh as the new home run king with his record 868 home runs in Japan. I also would love to see Arod break the single season home run record this year to take the undeserved spotlight off of Barry. It's not likely but if it happened on the same day it would be awesome.Barry is a cheater and if we can't void his records we can ignore them.
