How do you calculate an E.R.A. in baseball?
There's really one thing that I care about most... a female umpire or a female GM. If this could happen [i know the female umpire has] that would mean the world to me! I am a girl who plays baseball, so for me, that would be absolutely incredible to see.3&4. I would like to see Dice-K dominating the pitcher's dugout near the end of the season and the off-season.
If you notice, baseball player's end up getting injuries and fatiguing more as the season goes on (ie: Schilling and his ATF ligament).
The reason why I say this is because it takes Dice-K over 100 pitches just to warm up while regular MLB pitchers finish a game between 80-100+ pitches. They've checked his shoulder's MRI and they've all thought he was a genetic freak considering there were no trace of wear & tear and everything's perfectly in place. The Red Sox have told him to warm up with less pitches before his games. With less pitches thrown, this would lead to a longer endurance, less chance of injury, and a stronger arm for the end of the season and play-offs. I don't even have to get into his pitching list it's awesome (gyroball? c'mon).
If the Sox are up against a high scoring team, their pitching staff would most likely deny them (they're offense is "eh" though).
i would love to see the chicago whiny sux lose 162 games a year for the next 100 years.
