Is Fausto Carmona "The Next Big Thing"?
Question:After watching him pitch all year, (and especially today against Minnesota) I think he has a shot at becoming a major star in the major league. What is everybody elses opinion of him?
Answers:
Rumored that the Pittsburgh Pirates have retired number 21 twice. Do not know the answer. True?
I truly, truly hope he does. With the way Westbrook and Lee have been injured this year, we need someone who can step up and give us quality innings on a consistent basis. People always look back and say "oh, he struggled last year as a closer." But honestly, what pitcher doesn't struggle at some point in their career. He hasn't struggled so far this year! If he can continue to improve and keeps his sinker as sharp as it has been lately, I have no problem believing that he will be "The Next Big Thing".Why are the Yankees losing so much?
yes. hes a **** studWho do you think is the best player on the Braves team not including the pitchers?
Could be. He is only 23. Lets just say that the jury's out at this point. If he can continue to demonstrate pitching excellence over the course of a full season, then we can start putting him up there with baseballs best. What kind of bats are the best?
i have followed his career since he started in Class A ball in Eastlake Ohio for the Captains and knew then he was special. He went 20-2 for the Captains and, barring injury, he will be a stud with C.C. Sabathia until the Dolan family decides to save money (again) and let them both go.I think he will be great. Apparently Torrii Hunter says he already is. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basebal...
We Red Sox fans remember him with fondness.
