Ok, here's a doozy for you. Greg Minton started a streak on June 1, 1979 where he didn't allow a HR until 1982.If you look at his career stats, he allowed no HR in 1979, 1980 or 1981. (His last game in 1978 had a HR in his last inning of play). He didn't allow another HR until May 2, 1982.
His streak consisted of 178 games, and 269 innings of work. Barring deadball era players, his record will be hard to beat.
