I am sure they dont hurt your child, but the best way to learn how to swing correctly is to use a tee and use muscle memory. the hit-a-way and zip-n-hit do not use the real progress path of the ball. Use a tee and live pitching is the best. Soft toss help alot also. Using the tee lets the kid learn even with noone around. Hope this helps
