Do Phillies fans miss Bobby Abreu?

Will roger clemens join the yankees?
Yes, we sure miss the TWO homeruns he's hit so far this season. Shoot, scrawny little Jimmy Rollins has 9. We miss Abreu's slow, lackadaisical play in right field, it's just not right seeing someone there now who actually tries to catch the ball...and will run to catch it.theyre in last place what do you think
Why is it people seem to think beer and baseball go hand in hand?
No, most people here in Philadelphia find Victrino better than Bobby was. He hustles more, causes more havoc for pitchers and hits for a better average. Victerino also has a better arm. From the 2005 allstar game to the time they traded him about a year later he was hitting .270 with only 12 homers and he was supposed to be a powerhitter? With his trade Howard took a more prominent role and Utley became the power/contact/speed hitter this town loves
Why should they he's been one of the most inconsistent star calibur players in the majors. One Season he reminds you of Vlad Guerrero, next season he reminds you of Mark Bellhorn. He's shown what he can be but unlike other greats like pujols and vlad he just can't sustain it very long.I am not a Phillies fan but i think them getting rid of Abreu is the best thing that could have happened to them. Now if they could reach into their pockets and use some of the money they saved on him to bulk up their pitching they'd be one hell of a force in the NL.
Imagine if along with Hamels they added like a Roy Oswalt and a James Shields and Myers could coem back to form.I know theres bigger name pitchers then Shields but Shields is the best picther right now as far as production ratio to salary paid by the Devil Rays. They pay for one big pitcher like Oswalt and get one of those cheap less heralded guys with ace stuff like Shields and they'll be the team to beat in that division garaunteed.
14-3.Are the Sox ballin or am I seeing things?
They ditched Bobby just in time. I'm one Phillie's fan who loved to watch him play, he had that beautiful left-handed swing, and he was a 30-30 man twice, and a career .300 hitter. But Bobby seems to be on the downside of his career now, and with the $$$$$ he's getting, I'm glad the Phils aren't saddled with that salary anymore.Any body heard of ed armbrister a reds outfielder in the 70s?
