Why have most MLB videos been taken off YouTube?
Question:I had some great videos on my favorites list, my top being the Dodgers back-to-back-to-back-to-back HR's vs. the Padres last year. Now, most of them have been taken off, and if there are any, they are taken from the stands and are very poor quality. Does this have to do with the MLB trying to restrict fantasy baseball awhile back? What's up with this?

I actually just got off youtube where I was watching the video where the guy throws the pizza at another fan. I also suggest the one where a Mets fan wears a Mets jersey to Yankees Stadium. Hilarity! How many world series have the Yankee's won?
Hey ya ive noticed the same thing, i dont know wats going onWhatever happened to Ryne Sandburg,my favorite baseball player that played 2nd base for the Cubs?
I think they have been taken off because the games are registered trademarks of Major League Baseballlike with the NFL, during games they have anouncements that say the footage is to only be used with permission, so maybe it is the same thing for MLB.
Oh, and being a Padres fan, we still made it to the post season last year... so boo hoo for you :(
What are your season predictions??
copyright BSIf bonds breaks the record, should his record be w/ an asterisk?
MLB restricts access to anything and everything that offers either video or audio clips of game broadcasts. That's that disclaimer that you always hear about "without the expressed written consent of Major League Baseball..."It has nothing to do with fantasy and everything to do with copyright laws, and it always has.
Will ESPN show anything besides Yankees/Red Sox this weekend?
One word: copyright.Yankees vs. Red Sox 4/28 in the Bronx?
because they need to ask permission for using videos on there. unless u take the videos, it will be taken off youtube if they find it. same with nfl, mlb, nba, and even regular tv shows.More Questions & Answers...
