Who is a better player(Offense/Defense/ev... else), Carlos Beltran or Andruw Jones?
Question:These are probbly the best two guys going in centerfield, my friends and I just keep arguing about who's better and who's going to the hall and stuff, so answer away..

Carlos Beltran. While Jones is superior defensively (9 straight Gold Gloves) and has more power, he cannot hit for average. Beltran is a five tool guy, in that he can hit for average, hit for power, run well, throw well, and plays stellar defense. Give Beltran a slight edge.Carlos Beltran!

Andruw is by far the better proven fielder with is numerous consecutive gold gloves.As for offensively, Beltran puts up a better average and Andruw has been inconsistant; one yeah Jones put up 50+ HRs and the next was far less.

Although they are close to equal, I have to go with Jones as the better player because of his defense and their offense is close to equal. From a fantasy standpoint though, Beltran is the better player. They should both fo to the Hall but Jones desrves it more cuz of his "D".Carlos Beltran has the Golden Glove this year he has so much better speed then Jones. Beltran can hit better but Jones can probably hit better in the Clutch, but I think Beltran has better Defense and Offense then Jones
