He didnt blow the game for the Yanks, but he certainly didnt help their cause . He hit a home-run and went 2 for 5. Although the Yanks bats woke up today, they still cant hit in the clutch and with men in scoring position. Keep in mind the pitching wasnt that good as well. So they lost more as a team than anything. My question, what happened to all of Giambis power? It's certainly hard to be Robinson Cano today. Three errors charged against the Yanks today and all were courtesy of Cano. It's just one of those bad days where everyhting seems to go wrong for a player. I mean, the weather was awful, too. Maybe the ball slipped out his hand when he was trying to throw out Reyes who was trying to get to first base. When he bounced the ball off his foot on that Julio Franco hit, maybe he was just rushing things and took his eyes off the ball. He didn't necessarily won the game for the Mets. David Wright hit two 2-run HRs in this game. And the Mets stole like what, five bases? They're pretty aggressive base runners, too. Today was a messy game for both the Yankees and the Mets. Both team gave up a lot of runs. I liked yesterday game so much better. It was a clean, crisp game yesterday where both Andy Pettite and Oliver Perez were superb. I think that the weather plays quite a big factor in today's game and that's why it was the way it was.Who in MLB History has the best Homerun to strickout ratio?
