I think it has to be Chris Carpenter he had a great year last year capped off by a great postseason. He's got great command of his bread and butter pitches ( fastball- curve) and I think he'll continue his dominance this season.

To take a guess now, I would say Carlos Zambrano has the best chance. He is durable, has an offense behind him, and killer stuff. If he can keep it together and not let his emotions overtake his games, he'll get it.
I like Roy Oswalt but I'm not sure of his offensive support and his bullpen, Carpenter may be badly affected by his current injury and I'm not sure about Peavy's offense either. As a darkhorse candidate, I like Cole Hamels of the Phillies.
