Sorry but the question is wrong. Babe Ruth had 29 HR's his last season as a regular starter (15 games) but he played 111 games in left field. Without reliable box scores from that season (and there aren't reliable box scrores from 1919) there's no way to know how many of those 29 came as a pitcher, how many came when he was playing in left and how many came in the 5 games he played first. The year before (when he hit 11 to break double digits for the first time) he played 62 games at first and in the outfield. It's pretty unlikeoy that a third of the 29 he hit in 1919 came in his 15 starts when he played 7 times that many games in the field.When was the last time the hidden ball trick was used in a MLB game?
