Did you notice the President on Derek Jeter's Topps' baseball card?
Question:It looks like Topps cropped in George Bush on Jeter's card. Was this is mistake or part of Topps marketing strategy? The guy holding the bat in the dugout looks fake as well.

Did you also notice Mickey Mantle in the dugout? That's the guy in the dugout with the bat... Topps is claiming not to know too much about it, but they're enjoying the publicity. It's selling pretty well on Ebay as well.Oh and Topps saw it in the final proof... they didn't axe it...they could have. They just simply won't be making any more. So, it has the possibility to be simi-rare. Why run to Ebay and sell it? Enjoy it. It's a conversation piece. I'd like to get my hands on one.

Uh, if you have that actual card, Id sell it on Ebay - it was allegedly a misprint, made by a company employee, who did it as a trick. Only a few thousands printed. Worth money to collectors.What major league baseball player has the record for most times injured?

A spokesperson for Topps said that somewhere between the final proofing and the printing someone in the company played a joke and made the insertions. Topps would have stopped it, but it was too late, he said.It's Mickey Mantle in the dugout with George Bush in the stands.
