Question:specifically the ones that play every day.
Answers:
Why in baseball is a strike recorded with a "K"?
Every player lifts - but usually not during the season much. Especailly the wear and tear of a starting catcher.Which National Anthems are played at Canadian only ball games?
They do exercise and train.do they "lift"? probably not. Do they do exercises to loosen up, improve flexibility, gain speed quickness and agility?...yes. Do they max out at squat and bench twice a week?.no. Being catcher is rough and u have to be in good shape so they do train during the season. Think of a pitcher, they do sprints and cardio, plyometrics, rotator cuff exercises, pitching drills, toss bullpen sessions, throw BP and simulated games, and that kind of stuff but they dont lift or if they do they dont do it a lot w/ heavy weights. look at the physique of most MLB players while many are big and strong ( Ortiz, Manny, Bonds etc) they probably dont look like an NFL linebacker. The reason is strength has nothing or very little to do w/ success in baseball. Is squatting 500lbs gonna help Mauer throw to 2nd faster? No. But doing drills, developing a strong arm, working on his form, all this stuff will. So to answer ur question they train, practice, do drills, and exercise. But are they in the gym 5 days a week trying to bulk up and max out their bench and squat and look like Mr. Universe? NoMore Questions & Answers...
