Well pretty much all of them! I mean they all make more money than the President of the US and all they do is play a game for entertainment! Now why should Pro Athletes make more than Military Men and Women, as well as Fireman, Doctors, Policeman and Paramedics? So I just think they all are!They don't make ENOUGH money. The players generate millions and millions of fan revenue through ticket sales, merchandise, ect. If Jeter couldn't hit well, if A-Rod couldn't hit a homerun, if Wang couldn't pitch, then the multi-million dollar revenue that is being brought in wouldn't be there. The players are the ones that are bringing in the money. So it's only fair that they are paid out.

Take Pittsburgh for example: The Steelers are able to remain financially competitive because of revenue sharing, however the Pittsburg Pirates (even with a new stadium) will never be in the same 'league' as NY, Boston, or LA. All of them are over payed. Not only Yankees ever athlete in pro sport gets paid to much. Fireman, Policemen, Ambulance Drivers, and president all have more important jobs then to go entertain us. Do not get me wrong I love sports but A-Rod 25 Million a year? All of the other jobs I listed save lives/ help nation and none of them make 1 Million. Actually all south of $500,000. Ever Yankee makes more then that. Pitchers on that team are like over $100 Million!? All of these players listed above are in the fat part of their contracts which really inflates their payroll. The yankees aren't overpaying these guys. They are paying them the going rate for stars that play at their level.
They simply have too many guys making top dollar and that's the problem.
