It's a little early to tell because the season just started. But looking at them right now, I think they can make it.i would say that with as crappy as detroit has played and they are still winning, that the twins have a slim chance. also taking into account that cleveland and chicago, to a lesser extent, are pretty good as well. the twinkies will batle cleveland for second and possibly the wild card.

Chicago, Minnesota, Detriot, and Cleveland all stand an equal chance to win the division.Oh, and if the Twins do win the division, this will NOT be their year. Outside of Santana, they have no rotation. Outside of Morneau and Maur, they have no offense. Cleveland, Chicago, and Detriot all stand a better chance in the playoffs as Chicago and Cleveland have much more powerful offenses and Chicago and Detriot have a full rotation of good players. If the Twins win the division, they'll do the same thing they do every year they make the playoffs, lose horribly in the first round. 2003-Lost ALDS to Yankees, 2004-Lost ALDS to Yankees, 2006-Lost ALDS to A's.
