Who hits more triples in Major League Baseball - left handed batters or right handed batters?

I agree with you totally. I have 3 lefties on my team, and all 3 of them have more triples than anyone else. Although I geuss you could be righty and hit just as many. I geuss it just depend on who is hitting, but I think lefties are just more proned to hitting triples.
Lefties. Especially if they're pull hitters. The throw from right field is further than that of left field, where right-handers will pull to.
The obvious answer is correct. Hitters generally pull the ball more, if a lefty pulls the ball it's going to right, if a righty pulls the ball it's going to left. Clearly the throw from left to 3rd is a lot shoter than right to 3rd.

The top 4 in triples were all lefties.
You have a longer throw from right-field, plus lefties (usually) get a better jump from the plate. There are of course exceptions to any rule since everyone has their own batting style, so if a righty is great at driving the ball opposite field, he'd have almost the same "chance" of getting a triple.
But overall, lefties definitely have it a little easier.
