I am a Mets fan and Pelfrey is struggling, but he should be given some more chances to prove himself. After 5 more starts, if he can't produce, I would call up Chan Ho Park (who is dominating in Triple A New Orleans).Does the first week of Baseball favor the pitchers or the batters?
Not yet. I think they have to give their young pitchers a chance being that the quartet of Maine, Perez, Pelfrey, and Humbert will be the core of the rotation starting next year. Plus, he'll win a couple of games which will be routs for the offense. Look at how well Maine is ptiching this year and we let him go through a couple of shaky outings last season.More Questions & Answers...
