Is it true that some guy from Turkey (?) can throw a 160mph fastball?
Question:I know it sounds ridiculous, but I heard it somewhere. I know he never pitched in the majors, but he was scouted and he did come to the US but left because he missed home. He could supposedly throw the ball around 160mph...

are you sure it was 160 MPH? and not 160 KM/HR?because 160 KM/HR is equivalent to

and 99 MPH is realistic seeing how a man by the name of zumaya exists (detroit tigers pitcher that can pitch 100+ mph)
in fact, to further my point, 160 mph, is not physically possible, one's arm velocity would be a blur, and would certainly tear tendons in their shoulder every pitch.
