Answers:

Will the Cubs win the world series this year?

I don't think so, it seems to me that a lot of those guys are getting pretty old.

Was Sandy Koufax the most dominating pitcher of all time?

Last year yes, this year, no chance.

Atlanta Braves Rules!?

You forgot Oliver Perez, and this is the first year I don't have him on any of my fantasy teams so he's sure to have a good year. I really don't think their rotation will hold up in the playoffs, but with that offense they will most certainly get there, unless hte phillies finally get their act together.

Anyone know where I can find a matt murton jersey for cheap?

proll not the world series..but national league champs..u betcha

I won't take anything away from Martin Luther King, but I think Jackie Robinson paved the way for him and...?

I think the Mets can. They just need to score runs and give those guys run support, and they've got the lineup. If the injured guys on that list can come back and stay healthy, then you bet the mets can contend.

What is that string that some baseball players wear around there necks?

I think they could if it holds up. The hitting can make up for it if Delgado, Beltran and Wright can stay healthy.

Kei Igawa has been sent to the minors. The Yankee kept?

Of course, and they will fair even better when you realize they have a fifth pitcher in there too.

Pedros coming back too, no doubt about it, and he promises to be nastier than ever.

My fellow baseball fans. Do you think that schilling's sox contained real blood? or paint?

Why is Bud Selig racist?

Of course 3 seasoned veterans with 1 dynamic kid mixed with the mets explosive offense and great defence they are unstoppable.

I need to learn facts about the history of baseball. Any websites?

Yes, their rotation is solid, but the key to any pitching staff is how much run support they'll get and the Mets get a lot. The Mets win the series over the Yankees in 5.

Can you just imagine what kind of speech Rickey Henderson will give at his hall of fame induction ceremony?

If they're all healthy with no nagging injuries absolutely.

Who wins the ALCS? Red Sox or White Sox?

I think the Mets can win the WS WITHOUT Pedro.

Who is better? Greg Maddux or Roger Clemens?

if they pitch good enough and they have to O to back them up

Are there any current left-handed catchers in the MLB right now? If not, who was the last one?

El Duque is different in post season games
and healthy Pedro could win two games himself
plus Glavine

yes, why not

Why don't the baseball players play in short-shorts?

I think they had a better shot last year but it looks good on paper for them. I don't think that's the best rotation in baseball. A lot of teams can pound those guys.

What is Derek Jeters entrance song?

NO

Baseball question.?

Well, I'm a great Mets fan, but the thing is:
- Pedro: Injured until mid-season (we'll have to see if he's fully recovered for the rest of the year)
- El Duque: 40 years old, hope he doesn't get injured (he was in the preseason)
- Glavine: Around the 40's but tough fighter, he'll do the work
- Maine: He's an interrogant, not too dominant
- 5th pitcher: we need it, we havet o start looking for him to take him at mid-season (in order to see the performance of the various offers in the market)

But with a nice rotation and the offensive the team has roght now, the team will develop really good...

Why do some people consider Biggio as being a better 2nd baseman than Alomar?

Yes I do think they can win ad i personaly don't like the Mets, but they rock and they will only win if Minnesota is knocked out the first or second round of the playoffs

I have a question about baseball cards?

i think they can cuz pedro is one of the best ever and glavine is still pretty good the others just cant give up 4 or more 4 runs cuz the mets offense is amazing with reyes, beltran, wright, and delgodo and la duco looks good so far so i think they will win the world series

Is it an error for a fielder to drop a foul ball if the batter never reaches base?

Its too early to tell, but if Pedro can come back strong they should have enough pitching to go along with that awesome lineup. Who thought that St. Louis would take the whole thing last year over Detoit?? Do they have a chance with that rotation? Sure, it looks better than what St. Louis threw out there last year. Its a long season so injuries or trades could play a big part in determing whether the Mets or anyone else for that matter has a chance at the series.

OUTFIELD HELP! i need arm strength. please help!?

The chances of that are slim 2 none. glavine and el deuqe are on the final stages of there career, pedro is injured, and maine dosent have enough experience.
