As long as they have to play the White Sox 6 times a year, NOPE!Does manny ramirez try in left feild and does he walk to first base when he gets a hit.?
Unfortunately not for a long time. The management is in a win now mode because they are trying to save their jobs when the Cubs are sold. For this reason, they made some poor free agent signings like Soriano's long contract in which they will be paying him long after he has stopped being a productive player. Even odd signings like DeLaRosa has them spending their resources on questionable signings. They are locked into long contracts already and will lose their "ace" Zambrano at the end of the season. Additionally, their farm system does not have a lot of top prospects, and even Felix Pie does not project to the superstar they would need. While they have a few good players, the Cubs will be a middle of the pack team for the next decade.I think the Yankees should buy the Cubs. What do you think?I mean, they buy everthing else?

they have a decent offense with soriano, ramirez, and lee, but their pitching needs to step it upMore Questions & Answers...
