What drills are good for middle school baseball?

Question:I am just starting coaching an 8th grade boys baseball team and I don't know what drills to do. I dont know the skill level of the kids so I guess i start off simple but are there any good drills?

Judging fly balls. It is difficult for a young outfielder to figure if he has to come in on the ball, or drift back.

The consequences are, a lot of missed fly balls, 44-39 scores, tired players, and frustration.
