Double play - what do the terms mean?

Well i was cruising your picks and liking them very much. I was in awe. I was like wow there is someone on this site that knows baseball. I totally agree with your rankings and your playoff scenerios. I might flop a couple of your lower teams standings but it is very possible you are right on. (i would move baltimore ahead of toronto and possibly tb, i would say the cards a little lower than 3 but everything else a-ok) I would then say you know your pitching. Wouldnt guarantee those cy youngs but they are good selections. Dont know if santana can get it and peavy probably not as a good of a selection as penny giving you got the dodgers winning the division. But they could happen. Then you totally lost me...what the heck are you smoking with those two mvp's? lol Not a chance in hell of either winning. Neither may be mvp of thier team little on the league. Mark my words neither will win mvp GUARANTEED!!! Sizemore wont even finish in top 5 in a.l. Reyes may get top five but for sure wont win.

So I'm keeping with my original WS predictions.Being as unbiased as possible, but I truly believe the Indians will do it this year.

What is clutch hitting in baseball?

I go with your predictions except that I see Cleveland winning the Central--I just can't imagine that some idiot poster below picked them 4th...Redsox and Indians in ALCS-who wins--who knows--series will go 7.

How do you get involved in a business softball league?

Sox beat the Mets in 5

Did the Major Leagues ever allow metal bats, and if so, what year were they banned?

I think the Angels will beat the Tigers in the ALDS. The Brewers over the Braves in the NLDS. The Red Sox over the Mets in 6 (the reason being the Mets don't have the pitching). And I think you have the Yanks put a little too high. They have gotten way too old way too fast.

Post-season awards: Sizemore won't win the MVP. Voters got chastised last year for picking an underdog (Morneau), they won't make the same mistake twice in a row. Look for Ortiz (finally) or A-Rod on the outside chance that the Yanks make the playoffs.
