How hard is it to walk on a D-III baseball team?
its too early to say.. last year pujols was on pace to break it too before he got injured and i believe that was at the end of may. can't really say til maybe 70% of the reg season has been completedBest way to get additional help for a losing head coach in High School ?
I don't think so. Besides it's to early in the season to tell. There are many things that could happen from now until the end of the season. Slumps, injuries, etc.Who was the first player in baseball to have his number retired?
Baring injuries and long term slumps he has a chance with his current pace.He will aslo need a few multi homerun games as well.
yeah, if he keeps up the pace he has now
but who knows what could happen?
it could just be a good start, nothing more, or just the opposite
never
Is cole hammels the best pitcher in basball this year?
A-Rod is a bum. He's got the monkey off his back to start the season but I bet it jumps back on around September. And it will be back and be bigger then ever and the fans will boo him right off the field.Pick for the active MLB players...Name your dream MLB team?
It would be nice to see a clean homerun record. If A-rod can stay healthy and locked in we will see how close he can come.Yankees what will there record be??
yea, i mean obviously he has a chance, if he hit this many homers in half of April and stayed on this pace he could hit 100...he wont, but I think if he stays relaxed he could defiantely put up 75..with a season like that, you have to also put him as a sure shot to take over the all time record for homeruns...the man is like 31 and will get in the mid 500's this year...if he stays healthy, he could play till hes 45, that gives him 14 years to hit 300 HRs, whereas it only took him about 10 to hit his 500...crazy to think, but A Rod could be THAT GOOD...but then Pujols should be right behind him after his first 10 seasons, so we'll see...What are the ballparks Sammy Sosa has hit a homerun?
He has a very good chance at his pace. Here is his current projected stats for the season according to ESPN.comSPLIT G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB BA OBP SLG
Season 14 57 17 20 5 0 10 26 1 .351 .418 .965
Career 1760 6824 1375 2087 369 26 474 1373 242 .306 .386 .576
Last 7 6 26 7 9 1 0 4 10 0 .346 .379 .846
Projected 162 660 197 231 58 0 116 301 12 .351 .418 .965
Now that's a little unrealistic, but shows that if he stays healthy and just continues to focus and be consistent...I believe he will break Bonds record. And like the post above, it would be really nice to have a "clean" record!! I wish him luck
Will Ken Griffey Jr or Sammy Sosa get to 600 hrs this season?
He looks good and on pace. The weight loss has really sped up his bat speed. He just has to stay focused. In baseball, what are put outs? then, anunassisted put out?
I hope so, as much as I hate the Yankees, I hate Balco Bonds more. I want his name out of the record books, and if A-Rod has to be the one to do it, then so be it.What would your dream lineup be?
yes. Off to a great start. Why are the Mets so amazing in Arizona?
I've gotta say that I sure hope so. I'm not the biggest A-Rod fan, but anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, is better than Cheater-Barry. Plus, In that Yanks line-up, it's not like they can pitch around him to find an easier out. If Barry can do it w/out protection, then A-Rod can definitely do it w/protection.What place is your favorite team in ? And what place should they be in?
HELLNO 73 is the record I say noHe might beat the Yankees HR record, but no the MLB.
