Yes, being the die hard cubs fan that i am i have looked into the realtionship of Wrigley Gum and Wrigey Field. When the Cubs (know at that time as the White Stockings, No Realtion the the dreaded White Sow of today) Moved form there lake front stadium to the ivy covered home we know today. But it was not origanlly called that it was only changed when Mr Wrigley bought the field in the early 1900's. Now Wrigley Field is a natinal ladmark and he name is bound in legality to the name.
