Answers:
How do I increase pitching speed?
The Braves have opened a lot of eyes early in the season. Between the Braves, Phillies and Mets, the NL East should make for a great 2007. In order for the Braves to remain in the hunt, the Jones boys have to stay healthy. That's the key.Who is the most under ranked player in fantasy baseball and why?
The Braves will have a better chance if the Joneses be more productive and the hitting improves. The bullpen also needs to continue to do well as the season goes on.So, if the hitting (from Chipper and Andruw) gets better and the pen continues like this, then I think they have a chance.
they will be better then last year..but the Mets will win the division..sorry dude..Braves ruled for years..now it's our turn
:-)
Is there anyone who actually wants to see Barry Bonds break Hank Aaron's career home run record?
Mark this answer. The Braves will win the division.I personally believe the Braves have what it takes to win this division even with the loss of Hampton for the whole season (again). Why you ask ? Well first off, I believe they have enough depth on offense to take some of the pressure off of an aging Chipper Jones and FA to be Andruw Jones. Guys like McCann, Francouer are both just starting to come into their own. Hell, even Renteria is capable... Also, they have enough top talent and emerging arms to outlast the other powerhouses in the east. Presently guys like Hudson, Smoltz, James are fronting the rotation... and guys like Redman, Cormier (when he returns) Davies and a slew of other guys can all potentially step up and give the rotation a much needed boost even if it be for just a start or two... Finally, that bullpen is looking stronger than ever with the likes of McBride, Soriano, Gonzalez and Beefy Bob... I mean, 5-6 servicable innings at best will give that team a chance to win with that bullpen... Not too mention, they have perhaps one of the greatest managers in baseball history calling the shots... Along with that, in the event things do get tight, they have the resources in the farm system to string a deal if need be.. and we all know Scheurolz or whatever his name is.. pardon me for not knowing, I really am a baseball fan haha... is more than capabale of getting something done...
We'll win 96 games this year... 2 more than the Mets, 5 more than the Phillies.. and probably 40 more than the Nationals... go Braves !!
Who will be the Tiger's All Star player this year?
Well I think they have a really good chance. Like you said their bullpen is strong. And if they're doing this good with the Jones boys batting like crap just think how they'll do when the Jones boys get their act together and start batting better. They're 1st in the NL East right now for the 1st time in a year.Who will win the World Series this year?
I think they do have a chance. They had a bad year last year, but it happens to all good teams. I think they do have a good chance. You never know.Which mlb player is your favorite pitcher?
The Braves are looking good as we speak but its still a 162 game schedule.Despite my Cards getting swept by NY,they are showing life and back to .500 so theres a looong way to go.Which Toronto Blue Jays manager was fired for lying about his military exploits?
I'm a Phils fan...and the Braves will win the division. Take it from me that bullpen will carry them. Wish we had a decent pen.How do you qualify as a rookie in major league baseball?
A chance? Sure. A good chance? Not so sure. If the bullpen, and the pitching staff in general, can perform leaps and bounds better than last year, then the Braves should be in it the whole year, especially with the lineup they currently have. I'm not sure yet if the pitching staff can do that. They have a real chance. Smoltz in awesome. Hudson pitched a gem and looks like he is back. If they can get production from the back end of their staff, they may win the east. Their bullpen is quite good as well. The young guys in the lineup are coming along nicely. The Mets have two 41 year olds that will break down, and the rest of the staff is suspect. The Phillies look like they will fall apart again. Braves are looking good
Help ME PLEASE!! anyone in softball???
I liked their chances better before Mike Hampton was out for the year. They always have a chance though. The Jones boys will find their groove shortly.Go Braves. :-)
Best Start since the 95' season and we all know how that ended up. Already beat The Mets 2 of 3, some considered them the best lineup in baseball. Hampton is not an issue with the braves. Take away the blown saves last year and it would have been the 15th straight division championship. A newly found strong bullpen, great young hitters (McCann, Franceour and even Johnson and Diaz), along with the Veterans Chipper, Andruw and Edgar with an ace like Smoltz and a (returned to athletic form) Hudson. The braves not only have the ability and want top to win the division they will be strong contender for best record in baseball.
Make a haiku about the red sox newcomer Daisuke matsuzaka??
Give the Jones Boys a chance. During the Nationals series, they really started to crush the ball, and the pitching this year is BY FAR tops in the NL East, especially their bull pen. The Mets might have some offense, but as the opening series showed, their defense is total crap, and their pitching isn't much better except for Glavine (who ironically used to play for <surprise!> Atlanta...).More Questions & Answers...
